NeuroVault

Overview

NeuroVault is a public repository for sharing unthresholded statistical maps, parcellations, and atlases from neuroimaging studies. Launched in 2013 by the Poldrack Lab at Stanford, it stores the output of neuroimaging analyses rather than raw or preprocessed data. Statistical maps stored in NeuroVault can be linked to Cognitive Atlas task annotations, enabling automated meta-analysis via Neurosynth and integration with NIDM for full provenance of analysis results.

Connections

  • Required annotation: Cognitive Atlas (task annotation for statistical maps)
  • Provenance standard: NIDM
