Neurostars
Overview
Neurostars is the community question-and-answer forum for neuroinformatics, operated by INCF since 2012. It serves as a community support forum for users of open neuroscience tools and standards including BIDS, NWB, OpenNeuro, DANDI Archive, HED, and a wide range of analysis software. Questions are organised by tags, enabling tool maintainers to monitor and respond to support requests systematically, and the forum functions as a searchable knowledge base for the broader community. As of 2025, Neurostars hosts tens of thousands of threads across neuroimaging, electrophysiology, and computational neuroscience topics.
