G-Node — German Neuroinformatics Node
Overview
G-Node is a German national neuroinformatics repository and data infrastructure service funded by the Bundesministerium für Forschung, Technologie und Raumfahrt (BMFTR, formerly BMBF) and hosted at Ludwig Maximilian University Munich. It is the German national node of INCF and an integral part of the Bernstein Network Computational Neuroscience. It accepts a broad range of neuroscience data, including electrophysiology recordings, spike sorting outputs, and human and animal neuroimaging datasets. Alongside the repository, G-Node develops GIN (G-Node Infrastructure), a web-based platform for versioned data management and sharing, and maintains the NIX and odML open formats for neurophysiology data and metadata.
