DPUK — Dementias Platform UK
Overview
Dementias Platform UK is an MRC-funded platform providing researchers with secure access to data from over 3 million participants drawn from more than 42 longitudinal cohort studies, operated from the University of Oxford. It is the primary UK infrastructure for neurodegenerative disease cohort data aggregation, connecting datasets spanning brain imaging, genomics, cognitive testing, and linked health records within a Trusted Research Environment that allows analysis without data leaving a secure enclave. The Data Portal uses FAIR-aligned principles and OMOP CDM-compatible harmonisation so that cohort data can be queried and pooled across studies.
Connections

- relatedTo: HDR UK (NHS record linkage and health data infrastructure)
- relatedTo: UK DRI (primary UK neurodegeneration research institute; complementary data resources)
- relatedTo: UK Biobank (population-level complement to DPUK’s longitudinal clinical cohorts)
