Data Stewardship Wizard
Overview
The Data Stewardship Wizard (DSW) is an open-source tool for creating structured, FAIR-aligned data management plans, developed within the ELIXIR ecosystem. It uses a knowledge model approach: domain-specific questionnaires guide researchers through DMP creation based on their data types, funder context, and institutional requirements, producing machine-actionable DMPs compliant with the RDA maDMP standard. IFB (ELIXIR-FR) operates DSW@IFB as the French life sciences instance, recommending it alongside OPIDoR for researchers who need discipline-specific DMP guidance. Multiple national ELIXIR nodes operate their own DSW instances.
