Human Connectome Project (HCP)
Overview
The HCP produced landmark open datasets of high-resolution structural and functional MRI, diffusion MRI, MEG, and EEG in 1,200 healthy adults. Freely available via ConnectomeDB, it influenced the design of BIDS and produced the CIFTI file format for surface-based neuroimaging data. It remains a reference dataset for neuroimaging methods development.
