SciLifeLab — Science for Life Laboratory
Overview
SciLifeLab is Sweden’s national life science infrastructure, founded in 2010, that provides open genomics sequencing, bioinformatics, and FAIR data management services to Swedish researchers, produces the Human Protein Atlas, and hosts Sweden’s ELIXIR node (NBIS/ELIXIR-SE). It is a joint operation of Karolinska Institutet, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm University, and Uppsala University, with research sites across seven cities, and hosts three major platform programmes: the National Genomics Infrastructure (NGI), the National Bioinformatics Infrastructure Sweden (NBIS), and a Data Centre.
