ANR Open Science Policy

Overview

ANR is the main French public research funding agency. Since 2019, all funded projects must submit Data Management Plans and comply with Ouvrir la Science mandates: open access to publications, FAIR data deposit in Recherche Data Gouv, and open source software publication.

Key Requirements

• A mandatory Data Management Plan (DMP) is required for all funded projects.
• Open access to publications is required via HAL.
• FAIR data deposit in Recherche Data Gouv or a discipline-specific repository is mandatory.
